Gum Arabic is a natural gum made from the sap of the Acacia Senegal tree, which is native to Africa. It has been used for centuries for a variety of purposes, including as a binder, emulsifier, and stabilizer in a wide range of industries.
Thread beads without a needle!
When using a needle to thread beads, you have to consider that the thread is doubled over where the needle pulls it through the bead. By doubling the thread and including the needle, it’s sometimes simply impossible to get your desired thread through the beads.
So the next step is usually trying to poke the cord through the bead directly. The issue that will arise here, is that the cord will fray and bunch up making it also impossible.
Introducing Gum Arabic! Simply dip your thread into gum Arabic and twist it with your fingers. Once set, the thread will be rock hard. Now you can quickly and easily thread on the beads. Gum Arabic literally turns your thread into a needle!
The best part is, it’s water soluble. Simply wash off the gum Arabic to remove any excess. No glued-together fingers, no mess!
Henrietta’s Gum Arabic is safe and non-toxic. It’s proudly made in the USA and sold in an unbreakable 1/2oz clear jar.
