Air Dry Clay BY Elements of Art does not need baking. After a drying time of 24 to 48 hours, the clay becomes as hard as earthenware. This premium air dry clay will also stick to wood, ceramic, glass and plastic. Because of its fine grained structure, it is possible to make highly detailed pieces. Create jewellery, figurines and ornaments. No baking or kiln required.
Once dry, it can be sanded if required. It can also be coloured using Unicorn SPiT, paint or alcohol inks.
Use Instructions:
1) Use some wire or a knife to cut a piece of clay into a workable size. Store any unused clay in an airtight container to ensure it remains wet and malleable.
2) Using wet hands, knead the clay to make it soft and workable.
3) Use hands and tools to shape the clay.
4) Place finished project in a cool dry place to harden. Allow 24-48 hours to harden throughout. Once the clay has dried completely, it can be decorated with paint.
Elements of Art Air Dry Clay is distributed by the Australian agent for Jovi Air Dry clay. Unfortunately at this time, Jovi is no longer being provided for retail in Australia. The Elements of Art clay is a premoum quality clay with similar characteristics to the Jovi product.
